On May 29, 2005, a 3-year old boy named Kyle David Miller was killed in a car accident.

His family's minivan was broadsided at 45 mph and rolled over several times before coming to a stop.  At some point during those awful few seconds, the safety belt holding his booster seat failed, and Kyle was ejected from the car.

In their son's memory, the Miller family founded the Kyle David Miller Foundation. One of its missions is to persuade parents to keep their children in car seats beyond the current 4 years/40 pounds minimum guidelines.  While many parents are eager to be rid of those extra clips and buckles, an extra year or more of harnessing and LATCH could make the difference between life and death for a child.

To support these goals, H Barry Boo, will donate $3 from every sale of selected styles directly to the Kyle David Miller Foundation.  When you buy any of the styles designated as Kyle's Ponchos, you will be helping an important cause and, in a way, honoring the short life a sweet boy who who was taken much too soon.
